Easy Palauan Recipe: Boiled Bananas

A recipe: Boiled Bananas
Select slightly green bananas, on the verge of ripening. Place them in a pot with water. Bring to a boil and let boil until they just turn brown (about 10 minutes). Peel and eat. They have a dense texture and light flavor, similar to plantain. And can be eaten whole, sliced or mashed like potatoes. Use as a substitute for rice.
